Bed by the forest

We created a bed with perennials for shady and semi-shady conditions at the edge of our land in spring 2013. The base consisted of the existing trees and shrubs, to which we added perennials like hostas, ferns and other perennials for shade. For spring interest, bulbs were added among the perennials.
